About

Experience without the overhead.

Stilly is an independent product and experience consultancy helping companies turn complex business and customer problems into better digital products, services, and experiences.

Founded by Matthew Robinson, Stilly brings more than 20 years of experience across product, design, technology, and consulting directly to client teams—without the layers, rigid processes, or overhead of a traditional consultancy.

Matthew Robinson, founder of Stilly

01 / Built Differently

Built to work differently.

I created Stilly after spending much of my career inside large design, innovation, consulting, and technology organizations.

That experience taught me the value of bringing together business strategy, customer needs, design, product, and technology to solve difficult problems. It also taught me that great work doesn't always require a large team, a lengthy process, or layers of people between the client and the people doing the work.

Stilly is intentionally lean. I work directly with clients to understand the problem, determine what will create the most value, and help make it happen.

The approach adapts to the problem—not the other way around.

02 / Model

Small by design.

When you work with Stilly, you work directly with me.

There are no layers of account management and no large team assembled simply because the business model requires one. I can work independently, embed alongside an existing team, or help lead a cross-functional initiative.

When an engagement genuinely requires additional expertise or capacity, I can bring in trusted specialists from a network built over more than two decades in the industry.

The goal is simple: the right amount of experience, team, and process for the problem at hand.
